what is this?
Made in the Image aims to make a space for queer people to share their true stories—through portraiture and narrative texts taken from recorded interviews and written responses to questions focused on how folx describe themselves, feel themselves existing in the world, and what resources they identify as both beneficial to their journey as well as those they recognize as absent. The culmination of the project will create a repository of resources that can be accessed by others who may be struggling, questioning, or in need of practical solutions to real world challenges. As an ongoing record, Made in the Image will be available for exhibition, printed in book form, and updated online to reach the largest audience of readers and seekers as possible.
